NILA GS Pipeline Integrity Solution, Trusted Expertise.

We provide ultrasonic intelligent sensors solutions for vibration, corrosion-erosion , pig and particle monitoring

Through our partners, NILA GeoSolutions provides its upstream and midstream customers with high-end solutions and services to ensure optimum value is achieved.

We have always pushed for Innovation, guaranteed for the best quality and searched for fine-tuning directly in the field where our customers operate, hasten their needs, sensing their requirements and proposing alternative solutions. We are always open to take on new challenges, glancing at across-the-board areas of interest.

NILA GeoSolutions in conjunction with our partners ClampOn AS offer a wide range of products for both Topside and Subsea Environments. These products are designed to assist our customers with a wide range of asset integrity issues from particle monitoring, corrosion erosion monitoring to leak and pig detection.

The ClampOn Ultrasonic Intelligent sensors – sand detector, PIG detector, vibration monitor, well collision detector, corrosion-erosion monitor, and leak monitor are based on the same, well proven technology platform. Both the topside and the subsea instruments incorporate Digital Signal Processing (DSP

SAND PRODUCTION MONITORING

ClampOn’s Particle monitors provide means of monitoring, controlling and minimizing the production of sand to optimize oil and gas production and preserve system integrity. The utilization of a non-intrusive retrofit particle monitor, helps detect and quantify solids in oil / gas production streams, providing real-time readings to new stand-alone system or existing Master Control System.

It has the following specifications:

Ξ  Method of installation: Non-intrusive

Ξ  Minimum particle size: Oil/water: 25 microns/1PPM

Ξ  Air/gas: 15 microns/1 PPM

Ξ  Minimum sand rate: 0.01 g/s

Ξ  Minimum flow velocity: 0.5 m/s

Ξ  Repeatability: Better than 1%

SUBSEA CORROSION-EROSION MONITOR

The ClampOn Subsea Corrosion Erosion Monitor (Subsea CEM) uses active ultrasound where transducer pairs work in a pitch catch mode of operation, giving the average wall thickness between the transducers. As a part of the ClampOn family, it is non-intrusive.
A permanently installed Corrosion Erosion Monitoring system will measure the wall thickness frequently and at a high repeatability, eliminating the weaknesses that are commonly encountered in manual ultrasonic thickness gauging. Wall thickness trends are generated automatically and can be observed in real time, logged internally in a datalogger or presented in a wireless solution.
The Subsea Corrosion Erosion Monitoring version utilizes up to 32 transducers, increasing distance to a maximum of 8 meters. Installation is easy and the system is virtually maintenance free, due to the newly developed Dry Contact transducers which utilize electromagnetism to transmit and receive acoustic signals. Therefore, no glue is required and the transducers can be placed on the exterior on up to 3mm of paint or coating.
